Nick Kyrgios On Saudi Arabia Deal

Nick Kyrgios has reacted cheerily to reports that the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund has had “promising” discussions about a prospective partnership with the ATP Tour. Andrea Gaudenzi, the head of the ATP, has admitted that he had discussed a partnership with PIF.

One of the most well-known athletes to respond to the news is Kyrgios. The Aussie has previously expressed dissatisfaction with the salaries given to the top players in the men’s game.

Nick tweeted: “Finally. They see the value. We are going to get paid what we deserve to get paid. Sign me up”

However, many fans criticized his stance saying that top players already earn a lot of money and it’s not correct to get more money for a regime that doesn’t;t respect human rights.

A fan commented: “They see the value”?? No, it’s a PR campaign for the Kingdom using blood money. I hope you reconsider.”

Another one said: “Oh so they really don’t want gay players on the ATP to feel safe coming out, huh”

Another comment was: “Glad the $$ means more to you than basic human rights”
