Roger Federer has released his schedule for spring 2015 and there are some surprises.

Roger decided not to play the Davis Cup tie against Belgium in March and he will also skip Miami to give more time to prepare the clay court season.

The big news is that Roger will play in Monte-Carlo that is a place he used to snub till last year when he reached the final (d. by Wawrinka).  Then we have no surprises with Roger playing the Master 1000 in Madrid and Rome before the Roland Garros.

There are also no surprises for the grass season with Roger playing in Halle (life time commitment) before Wimbledon.

This will be his spring schedule

23 Feb: Dubai
12 Mar: Indian Wells
12 Apr: Monte Carlo
3 May: Madrid
10 May: Rome
24 May: Roland Garros
15 Jun: Halle
29 Jun: Wimbledon

Game on!

Pity Roger will not play the Davis Cup. But it`s wrong they put the tie few days before Indian Wells. I mean if you consider that most of the ties will be played in Europe, that wasn`t smart.

March Hugh

I am curious to see what the other players are going to do, I think Wawrinka will also skip it and I am curious to see what Djokovic, Cilic, Berdych, Murray, Isner, Goffin, Karlovic are going to do.
