After being eliminated in Roland Garros, Carlos Alcaraz took a little vacation, and he is now prepared to resume playing on grass.

Alcaraz’s experience at Roland Garros came to a very dismal conclusion in the semi-final matchup with Novak Djokovic. He traveled to Ibiza to refresh a bit before the grass season because he needed to forget about it soon.

For Alcaraz, grass hasn’t always been the finest surface, but he’s up for the challenge. He won’t have attended the Cinch Championships before because he was unable to attend the competition last year. He arrives with a clear head, an increased appetite, and his trademark smile, which he wears the entire time he plays tennis.

Talking about his break in Ibiza, Carlitos commented: “It is important to enjoy your life a bit as well. It is really important to come back to tennis feeling good. It was a good location and I like that kind of time to turn off your mind. I thought about the match against Novak and what happened, to take positive things about that and also trying to learn, but it was just the first one or two days after the match. After that, it’s a chance to forget that match and focus on going to the grass season.”
