The Swiss legend is not playing his best tennis this week, but he is always finding the solution. The Maestro defeated Kohlschreiber 6-4 3-6 6-1 in the first round, then he beat Verdasco 6-3 3-6 6-3, and finally he edged Fucsovic in the quarters 7-6 (6) 6-4.

Ranked no.13, Borna is expected to be exhausted in the semifinal against Federer since he has won 3 matches in 3 days winning all of them in the tiebreak of the 3rd set. The Croatian defeated Vesely 7-5 3-6 7-6 (4), Berdych 1-6 6-1 7-6 (4), and Basilashvili 4-6 6-2 7-6 (1).
