Nick Kyrgios and Stan Wawrinka are going to play each other in the quarters in Acapulco. They are scheduled to compete on Friday as the 3rd match of the day that is expected to be played around 8.30 pm.
Kyrgios
Currently ranked no.72, Nick accessed he quarters in Acapulco after winning an incredible match in the 2nd round against Rafael Nadal after he saved 3 consecutive match points while he was 3-6 down in the breaker of the decisive set.
During the match against the Spaniard, Kyrgios seemed to struggle physically, but it’s unclear if that was made up or real. The sure thing is that at the end of the contest he was running pretty well.
Wawrinka
Ranked no.42, the Swiss is finding his best tennis during the last few weeks. Stan was struggling to recover after his knee operations, Wawrinka reached the final in Rotterdam, and he qualified for the quarters in Acapulco after beating Ryan Harrison and Steve Johnson in straight sets.

This will be the 6th time that Nick and Stan will face each other. The head to head is 3-2 for Wawrinka.
