Genie Bouchard has recently declined to play the Fed Cup for Canada and she has changed idea over her schedule.
According to Genie’s mother, the young Canadian is interested in playing in Dubai, but she has not entered the tournament within the deadline so she would expect a wild card.
Genie’s original play was to play a “minor” tournament before Indian Wells in Monterrey, but apparently she has changed idea.
The tournament in Dubai will take place the 16th of February and Venus Williams is the defending champion.
