He was upset in his opening match in Stuttgart this week when he lost the to world no.55 Richard Gasquet 7-6(8) 2-6 7-5. Ranked no.5, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 15th of June when he was overcome by world no.55 Richard Gasquet 7-6(8) 2-6 7-5 in the 2nd round in Stuttgart (draw).
This season the Greek owns a compiled 31-10 win-loss record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s best performance of the present year was reaching the final at the Australian Open and Barcelona.
Tsitsipas is scheduled to play next in Halle (Terra Wortmann Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 19th of June thanks to a wild card.
