Casper Ruud decided not to play anymore in Halle and not compete in any warm-up event on grass before Wimbledon. The Norwegian player is notoriously not very keen on playing on grass and therefore, he may take some time to recover after the French Open.

Now the world no.4, Ruud played his last contest on the 11th of June when he lost to world no.1 Novak Djokovic 7-6(1) 6-3 7-5 in the final of the French Open (draw).
