Djokovic wants to make peace with Murray

Andy Murray didn’t hide his disappointment for losing his 4th final in Melbourne and he made it very clear that he was unhappy for Nole’s behavior on court during the final.

The world no.1 was struggling at certain moment of the match with “a bit of everything” and Murray said he was distracted for his behavior. “I’m frustrated at myself for letting that bother me. The third set was frustrating because I got a bit distracted when he fell on the ground after a couple of shots. I dropped off for 10, 15 minutes there, and he got back into it.

That’s what I’m most disappointed about, not so much the fourth set because I think, especially at the end of it, he was just going for everything, and it was going in.”

Djokovic: It’s normal he is disappointed

“From my perspective, no. How he feels about it, it’s obviously still very fresh to talk about that. He’s definitely disappointed about losing that match. It’s normal that some time has to pass. We’ll see.

If there is a chance, if he’s willing to talk, I’ll talk, no problem. I have nothing to hide. I’m not the sort of guy who is pretending, who is trying to do something behind anyone’s back or is saying bad things about anybody, especially about someone I have known for a long time. I have respect for him.

I don’t want to point a finger at him or the media or whoever might be trying to cause some kind of unnecessary tension. Hopefully, things will be right in the future.”
