Osaka still leads the rankings. Kvitova no.2. Bencic up to no. 23

Naomi leads the rankings, but Petra Kvitova is challenging her for the world no.1 rank

Osaka

After an interesting week in Dubai, Naomi Osaka is still leading the rankings even if she crashed out in the opening match, but she needs to start to deliver again if she wants to keep her top rank.

Kvitova

Petra reached the final in Dubai to overtake Sloane Stephens as the new world no.3. Even more important, the Czech is now leading the Year to Date rankings to be a serious threat for Osaka.

Bencic

Belinda is finally back after her wrist surgery. The Swiss had an amazing week in Dubai where she won the tournament after beating 4 top10 players such as Aryna Sabalenka, Simona Halep, Elina Svitolina, and Petra Kvitova. Bencic goes up 22 places in the rankings to be the new world no.23. Belinda is also world no.4 in the year to date rankings.
