Novak Djokovic receives a guard of honor after leaving his hotel in Paris

Novak Djokovic received a standing ovation from the hotel staff after winning his third French Open title, and returned the favor by bowing and signing a guest book.

Djokovic Emotional Send Off

The hotel Novak Djokovic was staying at during the 2023 French Open gave him an incredible send-off. After defeating Casper Ruud in the championship match 7-6(1), 6-3, 7-5, Djokovic captured his third French Open title to become the only man to have won 23 slams in singles.

The 23-time Grand Slam champion was required to conduct a picture shoot with the trophy the day after the final but also had to check out of the Peninsula Paris hotel. The hotel staff startled the Serb by giving him a standing ovation as he left, and he returned the favor by giving them a bow and signing a guest book.
