What a week for Felix Auger Aliassime!

The 18-year-old from Canada reaches the semifinal of the ATP500 in Rio de Janeiro after an outstanding run that started with a convincing win over the seed no.2 Fabio Fognini (6-2 6-3) in the 1st round. Felix got to the quarters after beating 21-year-old Jaume Munar 6-4 6-3 later in the quarters.

The quarterfinal

The match was extremely nervous with many breaks. The crucial moment was in the second set when the Spaniard was leading 3-3 40-0 when he had the momentum to bring the affair to the decider. However, Munar could not hold his nerves, and he lost his serve and so 3 consecutive games. That was it! Auger Aliassime won the match 6-4 6-3 to face either Pablo Cuevas or Albert Ramos Vinolas in the semifinal.
