Novak Djokovic won the French Open after beating Casper Ruud in the final. During his speech, the Serbian sensation addressed his coach Goran Ivanisevic thanking him for the support even if he was a bit tough behind closed doors.
Djokovic revealed: “You know what we’ve been through, the trials and tribulations every single day. You know how difficult I can be on a daily basis, so I want to thank you first of all for your patience and tolerance. Because probably that stands out more than anything else, knowing what I’ve done to you the last few weeks. People don’t know, but behind the closed doors I was really torturing you so I really appreciate being my rock, being my support and believing in me. I really appreciate that.”
