Novak Djokovic won his 23rd slam title, breaking two records and regaining his world number one ranking.

Novak Djokovic achieved the impossible on Sunday after winning his 23rd slam title, defeating Casper Ruud in the French Open final. With this last title, Novak breaks 2 records. First, he is the only man who has won 23 majors; second, he is also the only tennis player in history who has won all majors at least three times.

Novak Djokovic will also regain his world number one rank on Monday.

Now the world no.3, the Serbian has managed to achieve a 27-4 match record in 2023. The Serbian is currently playing at the French Open where he managed to beat the world no.114 Aleksandar Kovacevic 6-3 6-2 7-61, the world no.83 Marton Fucsovics 7-62 6-0 6-3, the world no.34 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina 7-64 7-65 6-2, the world no.94 Juan Pablo Varillas 6-3 6-2 6-2, the world no.11 Karen Khachanov 4-6 7-60 6-2 6-4 and the world no.1 Carlos Alcaraz 6-3 5-7 6-1 6-1. Novak defeated Casper Ruud in the French Open final 7-6 (1) 6-3 7-5.

Djokovic has scheduled to compete next at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon). He will start from the main draw that will commence on the 3rd of July.
