Fans on social media gave Alexander Zverev the moniker “the lion,” and he has adopted it. This also came up following his victory over Grigor Dimitrov on Monday night at Roland Garros. When asked in the press conference following the match whether the reason fans refer to him as the lion is because he naps often, Zverev responds with a hilarious answer.

“Yeah, what is it, lions sleep 18 hours a day and have sex for 4 hours a day and then eat for 2? Doesn’t sound too bad for me, to be honest (smiling). I don’t know how to answer that, to be honest. That’s probably a little bit has to do with the haircut, a little bit with screaming,” Zverev commented.
