Patrick Mouratoglou loves to nurture new talents. Serena Williams’ coach invited Stefanos Tsitsipas to spend a week at his academy when he was just 16. The Frenchman stated that he was impressed by his tennis. However, he didn’t think that he would have developed so fast.

Currently ranked no.12, the Greek should have no problems to get another place in the rankings in a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, during a recent interview, Patrick explained why Stefanos will achieve great goals to comment
“His potential is immense, and I think that from now we are all convinced of it. I can never know exactly how fast players will achieve their potential. My only certainty is that Stefanos will reach the highest level because he has the determination, the ability to work, the mindset and the needed potential.
He can serve better and improve on his return. He can also be more efficient at the net and improve his game near the net.”
Tsitsipas is currently in Marseille where he is seeded no.1, and he is hunting for his 3rd career title.
