Simona Halep had a fantastic stint with her former coach Darren Cahill that eventually had to pull the plug on their coaching relationship as he wanted to spend more time with his family.
Simona and Darren remained in fantastic terms to frequent each other also after their partnership ended as two old friends.
Unfortunately, it seems that the abrupt ending of the relationship between Naomi Osaka and Sascha Bajin was not as friendly. In fact, according to reports, their relationship deteriorated dramatically during in January.

During a recent interview, Simona was asked to give her opinion about this split between Naomi and Sascha to comment
“I cannot talk about her because I have no idea what happened. I have a feeling that was different because Darren split because of the family.
He wanted to stay home with the kids, so it’s a different reason. I’m still friends with Darren, and we have a good connection with friendship. Any time during your career I think you need a coach, so that’s why I got one.”
Probably we will know more next week on occasion of the WTA event in Dubai where Naomi is due to play.
