Novak Djokovic makes it clear that he is up and running with a nice a smooth win in the Australian Open first round.
Even if the world no.1 didn’t seem to be at his standards especially in the first games, Djokovic kept his composure to beat Bedene 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in 1 hour and 49 minutes.

The world no.1 said that he struggled with some parts of Bedene’s game “He did surprise me. I had a difficult time reading his serve. The courts are playing a little bit faster than they were the past two years. So if you have a big serve, know how to use it, it’s a big advantage on these courts.
