Novak Djokovic gave a big scare to the tennis community for not showing around for the last few days. There were all sorts of rumors about an illness or an injury. To make thing a bit worse the organization of the Australian Open also said that Nole “was not well”, so when today the Serb asked to have a press conference some were even wondering if he was about to retire. Fortunately that wasn’t the case
Djokovic: I had a couple tough days
Nole appeared in the press conference in good form to comment “I had a tough couple days but it’s all behind me now. I’m ready. Little bit with the flu and stomach. But I carried that already from the Middle East, but now it’s good. It’s passed.”
Nole will face Aljaz Bedene in the first round. Game on!
