Stefanos Tsitsipas reaches the quarters in Sofia after winning a solid match against Jan-Lennard Struff.
The match
After an awkward hold in the very first game, Stefanos was rock solid for the entire match. The Greek looked superior to his opponent in every department. However, Struff managed to hold for the entire first set before surrendering at the breaker.
In the second set, Tsitsipas conquered the decisive break in the 5th game before winning the encounter 7-6 (5) 6-4 in 89 minutes.
H2H Tsitsipas vs. Monfils
Stefanos will face Gael Monfils in the quarters. The H2H is 1-0 for Tsitsipas that defeated Monfils in the 1st round in Shanghai last year.
