Kyrgios tattoos his late grandmother age on his finger

It’s not a great moment for Nick Kyrgios.

The upcoming Australian is battling with a precarious fitness just ahead of the Australian Open and now he has to cope with a terrible fact: the loss of his beloved grandmother.

Unfortunately Nick had torecently turn down a visit to his sick grandmother to cope with all the preparation for the Australian Open and this is something that has really upset him. Nick has tattooed her age “74”on his finger to remember her.

Kyrgios:  She was a massive part of my life

“The week she passed away, I was supposed to go see her with Mum but I was pretty busy at home. I wanted to see her but I had so many commitments. I didn’t get to see her as much as I would have liked in the end. But I’m sure I could have just got a day off to see her. That’s what will live with me.

She was a massive part of my life. I was wanting to get the tattoo for a long time, so I just went with my brother last week. I haven’t told my parents yet, so it will probably be bad when they start reading this. She died at the age of 74, and was a massive part of my life. Every time I look down at my finger now I’m going to be thinking of her.”

We are sure he wants to celebrate her with a great run in Melbourne.
