Naomi Osaka is more and more the leader of the WTA rankings.

The Japanese didn’t play this week, but the world no.2 Petra Kvitova wasn’t able to defend her title in St. Petersburg to lose some points after she lost in the quarters to Donna Vekic. Therefore, Naomi has now an advantage of 1,110 points over the Czech and 1,448 points over Simona Halep (world no.3).

Yastremska

Dayana went up 13 places after winning the WTA event in Hua Hin to be ranked no.34. This is a career high for the Ukrainian that seems to be destined to break in the top20 sometime this year.
