Denis Shapovalov chasing his 1st career title in Montpelier

Ranked no.25 at just 19 years of age, Denis Shapovalov is already chasing his first career title.

The Canadian will play in Montpelier, Rotterdam, and Marseille to try to conquer his maiden ATP tournament. Denis didn’t plan to play in Montpelier, but eventually, he decided to compete after he got Andy Murray’s wildcard after the Brit announced that he wasn’t able to participate in the event.

In France, the top seeds are Lucas Pouille, David Goffin, Denis Shapovalov, Gilles Simon, Philipp Kohlschreiber, Jeremy Chardy, Pierre-Hugues Herbert, and Benoit Paire.
