The three recent surgeries Emma Raducanu underwent could endanger her career, according to Boris Becker. Raducanu made waves in the tennis world in 2021 when she won the US Open, but since then, he has struggled with injuries and most recently dropped out of the top 100 rankings. The British player said earlier this month that she would miss Wimbledon and the French Open this year while undergoing surgery to address problems with both of her wrists and an ankle. It’s not clear when Emma will be back to competition.
Talking to the Guardian. Tennis legend Boris Becker commented:
“The surgeries that she has had are, in my opinion, career-threatening. Having surgery on your playing wrist, and as a two-handed player, the other wrist – and then on your ankle – is tough to bear for a young woman.“

At the moment, during this season Emma has managed to achieve an overall 5-5 match record.
