After Tsitsipas initiated the dance-off at the Cincinnati Masters last year, Medvedev gave him a taste of his own medicine. Tsitsipas celebrated his victory in the tournament’s final four by dancing on the court. During the game in Rome, Medvedev discussed his dancing skills and mentioned that he had previously performed them at Flushing Meadows. He also described what the dance was.
“I did once in the U.S. Open that was famous. I like the GIF. I don’t know how you call it GIF or JIF? So let’s see what comes out with this one.” he commented.
“Because when you do it, it’s like being in the club completely drunk when you’re dancing, and then I have a lot of friends like this, you feel like you are the god of the dance pole,” Medvedev added.

Daniil Medvedev will face the world no.7 Holger Rune in the final on Sunday at 4:00 pm on CENTER COURT. Their current head to head is 1-0 for Rune.
Daniil has won 4 titles in 2023 in Rotterdam, Doha, Dubai and Miami. The Russian got to the final in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open).

Now the world no.5, Stefanos played his last match on the 20th of May when he was overcome by world no.3 Daniil Medvedev 7-5 7-5 in the semifinal in Rome (draw).
This season Stefanos owns a compiled 27-8 win-loss record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s most significant accomplishment of the present season was reaching the final at the Australian Open and Barcelona.
