The third and last surgery for Emma Raducanu has been completed. The British No. 1 confirmed earlier this month that she would be undergoing surgeries on both wrists and an ankle, keeping her out of competition for a considerable amount of time. The US Open, where Raducanu won the title in 2021 as a qualifier, as well as Wimbledon are also events she is likely to miss. The 20-year-old tweeted another selfie from her hospital bed on Monday as she reported that the final of her three planned procedures had been completed. In recent days, Raducanu’s Instagram account has been flooded with photos of her following surgeries.
The No. 103 player in the world had to withdraw from her Madrid Open match hours before it was scheduled to begin due to wrist issues she has been dealing with since last summer. She chose to have surgery on both hands and her ankle, which she injured in Auckland at the beginning of the year, and subsequently stated that she would be sidelined for several months as a result.
Her right hand was operated on first, and then a few days later, her ankle. Her right hand was the most recent to undergo surgery, and on Monday she uploaded a picture of all three casts while writing: “opa. 3/3:)”

WLWWLWWLLW Now the world no.103, the Brit played her last match on the 18th of April when she was defeated by world no.20 Jelena Ostapenko 6-2 6-1 in the 1st round in Stuttgart (draw).
This season the Brit has managed to achieve a composed 5-5 match record.
She is also scheduled to play at the Wimbledon (Wimbledon) on the 3rd of July and U.S. Open (U.S. Open) on the 28th of August.
