Maria was in demolition mode for the entire tournament to struggle only in the final against a tough Ana Ivanovic. The Serbian Beauty managed to win the first set of the final at the tiebreak to offer a great resistance in both the second and third set. Eventually it was Maria to prevail playing an outstanding match ( 6-7 (3) 6-3 6-3).
