Rafael Nadal reaches the Australian Open semifinal without dropping a single set for the entire tournament even if he had to beat top players such as Alex De Minaur, Tomas Berdych, and Frances Tiafoe.
The quarters against Frances Tiafoe was remarkably smooth for Rafa that was always in full control.
With the exception of the 4th game of the second set, the Spanish legend never struggled on serve. To give an example, he dropped just 3 points on serve in the 1st set and 5 in the 2nd. Therefore, the world no.2 had “just” to break Tiafoe once in each of the first 2 sets, and twice in the third. The final score was 6-3 6-4 6-2, and the match ended only after 1 hour and 47 minutes.
