Borna Coric played the best tournament of his young career in Basel where he reached the semifinals after beating Gulbis and Nadal. The victory against Rafa made Borna to hit some headlines and to get in to the top100. The entrance in the top100 allowed him to win the prestigious ATP Star of Tomorrow award.
The young Croatian is a huge prospect and he is fully aware of his potential.
I play like Djokovic…
During a recent interview Borna commented “When I’m at my best I am more like Djokovic game wise, when I’m not, I’m more like Murray. I think my game is quite similar to Djokovic’s. I move well, I don’t miss many balls, I’m a fighter and my backhand is my best shot. “

Then he added “Currently, I’m the best of my generation. Making the top 50 within the next few months seems a realistic goal for me now,”
Borna is now in Chennai where he will face Robin Haase in the first round. Head to head is 1-0 for the Dutch.
