Naomi Osaka and Su-Wei Hsieh will compete in the 3rd round of the Australian Open. They are scheduled to play at 11 pm on Saturday at Margaret Court Arena.
Osaka
Ranked no.4, Naomi looked in ominous form in the first 2 rounds after she dismissed Magda Linette 6-4 6-2 and Tamara Zidansek 6-2 6-4. The Japanese seems to be in a fantastic mental space and she has also spent very little amount on the tennis court after she won the first match in 58 minutes and the second in 64 minutes.
Hsieh
Ranked no.27, Su-Wei is one of the most talented and unpredictable players on tour that with her unorthodox tennis can upset anyone. Hsieh had also an immaculate run so far at the Australian Open after she defeated Stefanie Voegele 6-2 6-1 and Laura Siegemund 6-3 6-4.

Osaka and Hsieh have never played each other so far. The Japanese is the favorite to reach the 4th round unless Su-Wei finds the way to destabilize her with her technique.
