Roger Federer thinks that the “nice old days” when a slam was only a “big 4 affair” are over.
Last year Wawrinka and Cilic proved that an outsider could win a major and Roger thinks that everybody in the top30 has now a chance

“I guess we can expect great things from many other guys now as well and maybe it’s not just the top 10 guys who have a shot at winning slams any more but also top 20 and top 30. I always thought [the ranking] between five and 20 was extremely close and it showed last year.
But I still believe the favourites are the ones who are ranked in the top five and top eight.”
So… more glory for more people?
