Amanda Anisimova wants to be the New Sharapova
After conceding 5 games to Belarussian, during the on-court interview, the 17-year-old expressed her admiration for Maria Sharapova to comment
“Definitely Maria [Sharapova] is someone who I’ve looked up so much. I still look up to her to these days. She is an amazing athlete, and she is a great person too. So she is definitely someone I look up to and want to be the second person to win a grand slam as a teenager [like Sharapova in 2006 when she was 19].”
Amanda has all the tools and the age to achieve that.
