Roger Federer breezes to the 4th round of the Australian Open after a comfortable straight sets win over Taylor Fritz under the closed roof at the Rod Laver Arena.
The match
Roger was in absolute control of the match from the very beginning. The Swiss owned his opponent using frequent variations and changes of rhythm. The world no.3 started extremely quickly to get a fast 5-1 lead before winning the set 6-2.
The second set was much tighter as Roger got the decisive break only in the 11th game to win the set 7-5.
The 3rd set was copy and paste of the opening set with Federer breaking Taylor twice and winning the match 6-2 7-5 6-2 after just 88 minutes.
