Ranked no.87, Amanda is having a great run at the Australian Open to reach the 3rd round without dropping a single set against 2 good players such as Monica Niculescu (7-6 6-4) and Lesia Tsurenko 6-0 6-2. Amanda impressed against Lesia also because the Ukraine has been playing rather good tennis in the last few weeks and she even reached the final in Brisbane after conceding only 6 games in the semifinal against Naomi Osaka (6-2 6-4).
