Dominic Thiem impresses with his backhand when defeating Edmund. With Tsitsipas next

Here is a great video of a series of deadly backhands from Dominic Thiem

Dominic Thiem

Dominic Thiem has been struggling a lot with his results after winning a spectacular U.S. Open back in 2020. The Austrian champion got injured in his right wrist in 2021 when competing in Majorca. Since that moment, he has really had issues playing his best tennis.

Dominic is well known for his fantastic one-handed backhand, and he gave a little show in his opening match in Madrid when facing Kyle Edmund. Here is a nice video.
