Novak Djokovic not playing in Madrid due to injury, leaving Stefanos Tsitsipas and Carlos Alcaraz as top favorites.

Novak Djokovic follows Rafael Nadal in not playing in Madrid next week. The Serbian sensation has been struggling with his right elbow and tennis during the beginning of the clay-court season. After losing to world no. 70 Dusan Lajovic 6-4, 7-6(6) in the quarterfinal in Banja Luka, Novak decided to take some rest. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Carlos Alcaraz will be the top favorites in Madrid.
