The injury the Pole acquired during her run to the Indian Wells semifinals last month forced her to withdraw from the Miami Open and Billie Jean King Cup qualifications. She is also getting ready to begin the French Open title defense next month.

Now ranked no.1, Swiatek played her last match on the 17th of March when she was overcome by world no.7 Elena Rybakina 6-2 6-2 in the semifinal in Indian Wells (draw).
