Sascha Zverev and Aljaz Bedene are going to face in the Australian Open 1st round on Monday. The time still needs to be set.
Zverev
Sascha is eager to finally have a deep run in a slam. The German is fully committed to the task, but unfortunately he had a couple of injuries in the last few days that may dent his chances to win his first major. Sascha had to withdraw from an exhibition in Adelaide stating he pulled his hamstring and after a few days he had a nasty fall while training in Melbourne probably injuring his achilles. His physical condition will be clear only in the first match of the slam.
Sascha reached the 3rd round last year in Melbourne before losing 3 sets to Hyeon Chung.
Bedene
Ranked no.67, Aljaz is on a 4 match losing streak after he lost in the 2nd round in Moscow last year, then in the Q1 in Bercy, 1st round in Brisbane and Q1 in Sydney.
Aljaz lost in the 1st round of the Australian Open last year at the hands of Roger Federer.
