Tomas Berdych and Petra Kvitova have been named as the best Czech players of 2014.
Both players ended the year as the top Czech in the ATP and WTA rankings. Now ranked no. 7 (just 75 points less than Murray), in 2014 Berdych has won 2 titles (Rotterdam and Stockholm) and he has reached 3 finals (Dubai, Oeiras and Beijing).
Petra ended the season as world no.4 after winning her second Wimbledon, New Heaven and Wuhan and reaching the final in Beijing.
