The new born Geneva Open strikes a great deal with world no.4 Stan Wawrinka. The Swiss agreed to participate to the ATP250 for the next 3 seasons.

Stan commented “I am delighted with the return of such a tournament in our beautiful Lake Geneva region . Playing in front of the Swiss public means a lot to me . I ‘m sure the Geneva Open will grow well and the public will respond. Playing at home is fantastic for a player like me that has to travel a lot during the year “
The tournament will be played between the 16th and the 23rd of May on clay courts and it will be ideal to prepare for the Roland Garros.
