World no.42 Jack Sock will not start the new season in style. The American no.4 had to undergo an operation (hips?) and he will definitely skip the Hopman Cup and even worst the Australian Open.
Jack broke the news on twitter posting his “unhappy” picture soon after the operation stating “life is full of speed bumps, but I’ll be back even stronger. see y’all in Memphis to start my year. #postsurgeryicing”
The 22 year-old will be replaced at the Hopman Cup by John Isner that will partner with Serena Williams for the Team USA.
We wish him a prompt comeback.
