Emma Raducanu said that she is very optimistic about her chances during the clay-court season. Playing on the dirt was a completely new experience for the British sensation last year. Fortunately, this season, it seems to be a completely different story. Tennis pundit Laura Robson also said that she was impressed with how Emma has been hitting the ball and moving on the clay.

Currently ranked no.68, Raducanu played her last match on the 22nd of March when she was defeated by world no.27 Bianca Andreescu 6-3 3-6 6-2 in the 1st round in Miami (draw).
At the moment, during this season Raducanu has a 5-4 record.
Raducanu has scheduled to play next in Stuttgart (Porsche Tennis Grand Prix). She will start from the main draw that will commence on the 17th of April.
