Andy Murray is one of the best tennis players in history, and he loves watching some of his colleagues in action whenever he can. During a recent interview, the former world No. 1 admitted that he is always happy to see Carlos Alcaraz, Emma Raducanu, and Iga Swiatek competing.

Andy told Eurosport: “I love watching Swiatek; she moves great, and I like the shape she plays with on the ball. I always watch Emma matches when I can, but I do love watching Swiatek. I love watching Alcaraz; he’s great to watch with his game style and his personality on the court.

I also enjoy watching Medvedev, just because he’s got such a different game to a lot of the players. He’s very unorthodox; nothing he does on court is textbook.”

Now ranked no.54, the Brit played his last match on the 10^th of April when he was defeated by world no.19 Alex De Minaur 6-1 6-3 in the 1^st round in Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters (draw).

This season Andy has a compiled 8-6 match record. Andy Murray’s best achievement of this season was reaching the final in Doha.

He is also scheduled to play in Rome (Internazionali BNL d’Italia) after Madrid. The main draw will start on the 26th of April.

Carlos Alcaraz in 2023

Currently ranked no.2, Carlos played his last match on the 31^st of March when he was overcome by world no.8 Jannik Sinner 6-7(4) 6-4 6-2 in the semifinal in Miami (draw).

Until now, during this year Alcaraz has achieved a compiled 18-2 record. Carlos clinched 2 titles in 2023 in Buenos Aires and Indian Wells. Alcaraz was the finalist in Rio de Janeiro.

He is also scheduled to play in Madrid (Mutua Madrid Open) on the 26th of April and Rome (Internazionali BNL d’Italia) on the 10th of May.

Andy Murray and Carlos Alcaraz clashed against each other only twice. Their current record is 1-1. The last time they competed against each other, Carlos Alcaraz won 6-3 6-4

in the 2^nd round in Vienna (Erste Bank Open) in October 2021.

Currently ranked no.68, Emma played her last match on the 22^nd of March when she was overcome by world no.27 Bianca Andreescu 6-3 3-6 6-2 in the 1^st round in Miami (draw).

At present, during this year the Brit has a 5-4 record.

Iga Swiatek in 2023

At the moment ranked no.1, Swiatek played her last match on the 17^th of March when she was defeated by world no.7 Elena Rybakina 6-2 6-2 in the semifinal in Indian Wells (draw).

At present, during this year Swiatek has a 16-4 win-loss record. Swiatek clinched 1 title in Doha. Iga was the finalist in Dubai.

Emma Raducanu and Iga Swiatek played each other twice. The head to head is 2-0 for Swiatek. The last time they competed against each other, Iga Swiatek won 6-3 6-1 in the 4^th round in Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open) on the 14^th of March 2023.
