Emma Raducanu is looking forward to kicking off her clay-court season. That will happen next week in Stuttgart on the occasion of the 46th Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, an extremely prestigious WTA 500 event. Raducanu is a brand ambassador for Porsche, and she will access the main draw thanks to a wild card.
During a recent interview, Emma revealed that she’s excited to play in Germany and believes that the conditions will be quite good for her tennis.
“It plays a bit faster than an outdoor clay court, such as Rome, and I think it suits my game. The tournament is a super way to begin the clay season. So hopefully it sets me up well and helps the transition to clay,” she said.

LWWLLWWLWW Now the world no.68, the Brit played her last match on the 22nd of March when she surrendered to world no.27 Bianca Andreescu 6-3 3-6 6-2 in the 1st round in Miami (draw).
This year Raducanu achieved an overall 5-4 record.
Raducanu will compete next in Stuttgart (Porsche Tennis Grand Prix). She will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 17th of April.
