After Ayan Broomfield unexpectedly made it to the Fayez Sarofim & Co. U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championships final in Houston, Frances Tiafoe recently voiced his love for her. Tiafoe won the championship in Houston to make a strong start to his clay season. In the championship match, he defeated Tomas Martin Etcheverry 7-6(1), 7-6(6). Throughout the competition, the top seed didn’t lose a single set.

The American said thanks to his coaching staff in his winning speech. Then he turned his attention to Broomfield, whose unexpected participation in the championship left him overcome with joy.

“I also want to thank my team, my girlfriend Ayan who I see in the crowd at 1-0. I was like, ‘I didn’t even know you were in Houston; I thought you were in LA,” he said during the speech.

Later he took on social media, saying: “Love this girl sooo damn much. You flew in for the final without me knowing. You didn’t want to miss the moment. Soo thankful for you baby my road dawg for real.”
