The German had high expectations for the upcoming slam in Melbourne, but now he even doubts he will be able to compete at the Australian Open.
What is Zverev’s injury?
Sascha is currently in Adelaide where he was supposed to play the World Tennis Challenge. Eventually, on court, he announced that he would not be able to compete in the exhibition because he pulled his hamstring.
Will Zverev play the Australia Open?
At this point, there are doubts that Zverev will even be able to compete in Melbourne for the Australian Open because usually, it takes weeks to recover from this kind of injury. The hope is that his injury is not that serious.
