Holger Rune and coach Patrick Moratouglou have recently announced that they will no longer partner after being extremely successful in the last few months. However, they surprised the tennis fans again by announcing that they will collaborate together again in Monte Carlo. Apparently, that partnership will last only 1 week.

Ranked no.8 (career-high), Rune played his last match on the 28th of March when he lost to world no.10 Taylor Fritz 6-3 6-4 in the 4th round in Miami (draw).

Currently, during this year Rune has achieved a 14-7 match record. Holger Rune’s best performance of the year was reaching the semifinal in Montpellier and Acapulco.

Rune will play next in Munich (BMW Open). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 17th of April.
