The Canadian dismisses Hsieh in straight sets to win her 7th consecutive match in New Zealand

Amazing stuff in Auckland as Bianca Andreescu wins her 7th consecutive match to reach the final after running from the qualifications.

The Canadian is drawing the attention of the tennis community not only for her incredible run and the fact that she is still only 18, but also because she is showcasing great tennis with lots of tactical variations that is great to see.

Also, Bianca didn’t reach the final because she was lucky in the draw. In fact, on the way she defeated 2 former world no.1 such as Caroline Wozniacki and Venus Williams.

The match against Hsieh was extremely smooth for the Canadian that managed to get a strong early lead in both sets (5-1 and 4-1). The final result was 6-3 6-3, and the match ended after 1 hour and 21 minutes.

Bianca will face Julia Goerges in the final. They have never played each other so far. The favorite for the title is the German, but Andreescu has definitely the tennis to produce yet another upset.
