Alisha Lehmann, an Aston Villa player, sent Stefanos Tsitsipas a beautiful gift before the start of a demanding clay-court season after some back-and-forth messages. After competing in the North American hardcourt tournaments in Indian Wells and Miami last month, the Greek tennis has already returned to Europe. The Australian Open finalist had somewhat poor results, losing his first match in the Californian desert before exiting in the round of 16 in Florida.

He hasn’t wasted any time putting his American disappointments in the past and is currently in Monaco getting ready for the Monte-Carlo masters, which marks the beginning of the clay-court season. The 24-year-old was wearing an Aston Villa shirt that Lehmann had given him when he shared a video of him practicing at the Monte Carlo Country Club on Instagram. Tsitsipas’ jersey had Lehmann’s name and number on the back, and he captioned the video, “Getting ready for the game. I appreciate it, @alishalehmann7.” The world No. 3 had already sent Lehmann a gift in appreciation for her consent to play in a mixed doubles competition with his younger brother Petros.
