The rising star of Coco Gauff is now prepared for primetime. The 19-year-old will make her television debut on an upcoming episode of All American: Homecoming, trading the tennis court for the big screen. The CW show is a spin-off of the sports drama All American, which chronicles the lives of high school athletes in Beverly Hills as they deal with racial challenges, class conflicts, and the regular classroom drama. Homecoming follows a student as she chases her dream of being a professional tennis player at Bringston University, a fictional Historical Black College/University in Atlanta, which also happens to be Gauff’s real-life hometown.

All American: Homecoming, now in its second season, is preparing for its conclusion with Gauff’s participation scheduled for the crucial penultimate episode, “Stand Up for Something” Although there aren’t many details about her character yet, it appears that the player will play herself, joining notable guests like Reggie Bush on the show. It’s Gauff’s most recent success off the court. Throughout her quick ascent to the top, Gauff has delighted in pursuing her creative interests. The American recently told the press that she feels like she’s “living the dream” as she celebrated her 19th birthday on Monday in Indian Wells.
